Year of Inception - 2018
At New Gen Boomi Trust, our journey of environmental stewardship began in 2018 when we took our first steps toward creating a more sustainable and harmonious world.

Our first major project involves in sowing over
15,000 Palmyra seeds along the road leading
from the Forest Checkpost Adivaaram, Yercaud,
to Kurumbampatti Zoo. Additionally, we planted
seeds along the banks of four newly constructed
check dams en route. This substantial initiative,
costing ₹1,70,000, will be enhancing the food
security in the forest and increasing the ground
water level and also protecting soli erosion .

Planting of Vetiver slips on the Western side of
the road leading to Yercaud . The planting is
done mainly to stop soil erosion and conserving
the depleting water source in the rocky eastern
Ghat. This chain of Eastern Ghat is the main
source for rain and abode for 100's of birds
,animals, insects which has to be preserved and
protected forever. This project of planting vetiver
is just beginning of protecting the rocky Eastern
Ghat.
